Position Overview
The Restoration Mitigation Technician/Specialist is responsible for performing water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and basic remediation services at residential and commercial properties.
This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform water extraction, drying, and moisture monitoring
- Set up and monitor dehumidifiers, air movers, and other equipment
- Remove damaged materials (drywall, flooring, insulation, etc.)
- Perform demolition and debris removal as needed
- Document job progress with photos and notes
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and staff
- Load, unload, and maintain equipment and vehicles
- Follow IICRC and company safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and wet/damaged environments
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work on-call, nights, weekends, and overtime when needed
- Prior restoration/mitigation experience preferred (but willing to train)
Preferred (Not Required)
- IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT)
- Previous experience in water/fire/mold restoration
- Construction or demolition background

Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday with rotating on-call schedule
- Occasional nights, weekends, and emergency response
