Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls involving water damage, fire, mold, or other property losses, demonstrating emergency response readiness.
- Perform cleaning and debris removal using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to prepare sites for restoration.
- Execute fire restoration tasks such as soot removal, smoke odor elimination, and structural cleaning to restore properties to pre-loss condition.
- Conduct flood and water damage restoration by extracting water, setting up drying equipment, and monitoring moisture levels.
- Apply safety protocols diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection, and adhering to industry safety standards during all operations.
- Assist with mold remediation following strict environmental safety guidelines.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site travel and transport of tools and equipment to job sites.
Requirements
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or construction is highly preferred; willingness to learn on the job is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients during stressful situations.
- Ability to work on-call coverage hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for emergency response.
- Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software is a plus for documenting damages accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration-related machinery.
- Knowledge of safety protocols including proper PPE use, respiratory protection measures, and hazardous material handling such as mold abatement.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles responsibly.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
