United Fire Systems division of United Fire Protection Corp is looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Union, NJ.

What You'll Do
- Assemble fire protection equipment and mechanical components.
- Read and follow assembly drawings and instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain tools and keep the work area organized.
- Complete work orders accurately and on time.
- Assist with product testing and prototype development.
- Follow safety and quality procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or equipment repair.
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions.
- Comfortable using hand tools and industrial equipment.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work well with others.
- Ability to lift, stand for extended periods, and perform hands-on work.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical training is a plus but not required.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $25–$29 per hour, based on experience.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
- Employment: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required.
