Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Bilingual On-site Coordinator to assist with recruitment and administrative responsibilities in an outdoor plant environment. This full-time position requires flexibility to adapt to client needs, including weekend and holiday availability. Typical work is scheduled during (6 AM - 3:30 PM) 1st shift hours, though hours may vary depending on client demands. The setting is physical and outdoors, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support recruitment and selection for temporary employees, including resume reviews, interviews, and onboarding coordination
- Represent United professionally with clients, maintaining a courteous and knowledgeable presence
- Assist with sourcing and recruiting efforts within the designated area
- Perform administrative tasks, including accurate and timely data entry and maintaining candidate records
- Answer calls, provide general assistance, or direct inquiries appropriately
- Help draft and obtain job descriptions as needed
- Screen resumes and schedule candidate interviews
- Maintain written documentation of policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with local employment and privacy laws, including pre-employment screening per contract and legal requirements
- Escort new external talent to their work area on their first day, when on-site
- Assist with planning and representing United at onsite events as needed
- Prepare miscellaneous reports and support special projects as assigned
Site-Specific Requirements:
- This role is primarily based in an outdoor plant nursery setting; candidate must be comfortable working outdoors
- Must be flexible with scheduling, as work hours may vary depending on the client’s needs
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
- Flexibility and adaptability are essential
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish) Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Outgoing personality with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Dependable and punctual, able to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to work non-standard business hours
