Warehouse Associate – 2nd Shift
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations during the second shift. This position is responsible for inventory management, pallet breakdown, product inspection, receiving, and material handling. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Break down pallets and inspect packages for accuracy, quality, and damage.
- Store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct inventory counts and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Utilize RF scanners to accurately track inventory and warehouse transactions.
- Unload deliveries from trucks and assist with receiving operations.
- Operate warehouse equipment to move materials and products throughout the facility.
- Follow established safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
- Assist with other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience using RF scanners required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory control.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Sit-Down Forklift Certification required.
- Stand-Up Forklift Certification required.
- Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) experience required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift materials throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely lift and move products in accordance with company safety guidelines.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with equipment traffic and varying temperatures.
Schedule
- 2nd Shift
- Overtime and weekend work may be required based on operational needs.
