Machine Operator

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Slitter Operator (I) to join our production team.

The Slitter Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining slitting machinery to precisely

cut and slit materials, such as paper, film, or metal, according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):

• Sit down forklift is a must

· Set up and operate slitting machinery to accurately cut and slit materials into specified widths

and lengths.

· Monitor machine operations to ensure proper tension, alignment, and cutting of materials,

adjusting as necessary.

· Load materials onto the slitting machine, adjust settings for width and length, and thread

materials through the machine for processing.

· Perform quality checks on slit materials to verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface quality,

and adjust as needed to meet quality standards.

· Inspect blades, cutting tools, and equipment components for wear and damage, and perform

routine maintenance tasks, such as blade sharpening and lubrication.

· Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and prevent

accidents or injuries.

· Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
