Human Resources Supervisor
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility for 2nd & 3rd shift support as needed)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Supervisor to support a well-established manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a structured, team-oriented environment and is looking to grow into an HR Manager position as the business expands.
In this role, you will oversee all day-to-day HR functions supporting approximately 80 hourly and 9–10 salaried employees across a 3-shift operation. You will partner closely with leadership to maintain a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance, and support operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions
- Oversee staffing agencies, including performance, cost control, and workforce planning
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts
- Support and administer disciplinary actions, attendance programs, and terminations in compliance with company policies and California labor laws
- Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and documentation
- Process and review payroll using ADP and administer employee benefits (health, dental, 401(k))
- Partner with Safety and Operations to manage workers’ compensation claims and reduce workplace injuries
- Participate in ISO 9001 audits and maintain required HR documentation and training records
- Support onboarding, training programs, and supervisor development
- Track HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism, and staffing levels, and provide updates to leadership
- Collaborate with leadership to support business growth and operational stability
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience in manufacturing or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices
- Experience with employee relations, recruiting, payroll, and workers’ compensation
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees across multiple shifts
- Experience working in ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP)
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience with ADP payroll systems

Salary : $70,000 - $95,000
