Overview
We’re seeking an Operations Manager to support the Branch Manager and help drive day-to-day performance. This role is ideal for an experienced salesperson who’s ready to step into leadership and take ownership of branch operations, customer experience, and process improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily branch operations to ensure smooth workflow across sales, inventory, and customer service.
- Partner closely with the Branch Manager on planning, performance tracking, and team coordination.
- Use sales analytics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities that improve margins, service levels, and overall branch results.
- Help refine and implement branch processes, sales strategies, and best practices.
- Support and mentor staff while modeling strong customer-facing behaviors.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with contractors, builders, and long-standing accounts.
- Assist with forecasting, ordering, and inventory accuracy to reduce stockouts and improve turns.
- Step in on key customer issues, ensuring fast, professional resolutions that build loyalty.
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and training efforts as the team grows.
