GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: United Digestive’s (UD) Senior Provider Recruiter is responsible executing all physician recruitment activities, as determined by UD Leadership. S/he will contribute to the overall physician recruitment strategy, enabling United Digestive to attract, hire, and retain the exceptional talent needed to deliver high-quality patient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Partner closely with physician leadership and operational leadership to advance physician recruitment objectives and deliver a high-quality experience for all candidates
- Maintain accurate reports regarding the daily operation of physician recruitment, including pipeline/ATS management
- Keep job postings relevant and up to date on internal system, as well as any external Job Boards or posting platforms
- Introduce Provider Recruitment Specialist to candidates for scheduling physician candidate visits to perspective affiliated offices, accommodating to physician’s schedule
- Provide timely follow up with physician candidates throughout the recruiting process including offer, negotiations, contract signing, relocation, and start date
- Develop strong relationships with physician candidates and effectively maintains contact and communication
- Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, executive leaders, and external vendors to maintain a high level of effectiveness in the recruitment process
- In concert with the Provider Recruitment team, actively work to streamline the workflow to increase new hire acquisition, improve talent pool, and minimize time to fill (Continuous Improvement)
- Display a strong business acumen and a working knowledge of healthcare and human resource trends and maintain utmost professionalism while being an ambassador of United Digestive and the department
- Aid other departments (Medical Staff Services, Payor Enrollment, HR, Marketing, etc.) in the onboarding process, to maintain a “white glove” feel for new providers, from signing date through end of year one

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required; minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated leadership success in provider recruitment, as well as relevant recruitment experience within a healthcare organization; proven experience in both onsite and virtual presentations; experience facilitating effective change on a broad scale, taking initiative, and driving results. MBA or MHA is a plus; working knowledge of provider credentialing preferred; experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, Paycom, Salesforce and managing KPIs is highly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required. Travel 25% as business needs require, depending on work location.
