Job Overview
The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong scheduling skills and be proficient in Procore and Microsoft Project.
Key Responsibilities

- Site Management: Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Scheduling: Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones.
- Procore Utilization: Effectively use Procore for project management, including tracking progress, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among team members.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and seamless coordination of work activities.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor construction crews and subcontractors, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of ongoing work to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and best practices, conducting safety meetings and training sessions to maintain a safe job site.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively address any issues or challenges that arise on-site, providing solutions to keep the project on schedule.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of construction activities, daily logs, and project documentation, reporting progress and issues to project management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on scheduling.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred not required.
- Strong proficiency in scheduling software, specifically Microsoft Project, and project management tools, particularly Procore.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and documents.
- Obtain OSHA certifications and other safety qualifications.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
