United Concrete Products Inc. is a family-owned precast concrete manufacturer based in Wallingford, CT. As the Recruiter you will primarily be responsible for recruitment and onboarding. Our ideal candidate will have experience recruiting and be outgoing with strong interpersonal skills.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage and facilitate recruitment and onboarding activities for direct hires and temporary associates.
- Prescreen all candidates, schedule interview with hiring managers.
- Partner with trade programs and colleges for recruitment needs.
- Support HR Manager with administrative tasks and HR metrics
- Willingly assist team members with projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience recruiting positions such as: Laborers, QC Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Mechanics, Welders, etc.
- Must have solid time management and prioritization skills.
- Upholds and supports organizational goals and values.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must value operating in a collaborative and cooperative environment.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to utilize multiple word-processing and database applications including MS Office applications Word, Excel, and other software applications as necessary.
Experience & Education
- 2 years of full cycle recruitment
- 1 years general human resources experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
