Role Description
United Citizen Law is seeking a dedicated Litigation Paralegal for a full-time, on-site role based in Sacramento, CA. The Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys in case preparation and management, perform legal research, draft and review legal documents, and coordinate communications with clients and other legal professionals. Responsibilities also include maintaining case files, preparing pleadings, motions, and other essential court documents. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively within a fast-paced legal environment. We routinely try cases and we need someone who enjoys winning, willing to wok long hours, and appreciates the gravity of trial work.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and Document Review
- Experience with Legal Research and analysis of legal issues
- Knowledge and experience in preparing Pleadings and Motions
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage case files efficiently
- Attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to work collaboratively with attorneys
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field preferred
- Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is highly desirable
- Familiarity with state procedures is an advantage
