Disclaimer: This position is very part-time, meaning about 2-5 hours per week. **So, please don't plan on moving to the Pinellas County or Hillsborough Country areas solely for this job.
With that said, we are looking for both head coaches and assistant coaches for our Fall 2026 after-school basketball programs. Most of these school programs take place from September-December, and then we'll run back the programs for Spring 2027.

Job Details for Energetic Youth Basketball Coach
- Hours: Most of the programs take place around 2-3pm or 3pm-4pm. Each school's program lasts for 6 weeks, one day per week, one hour per week (e.g. every Monday at the same elementary school campus, 3-4pm, for 6 straight weeks).
- Grades: K-5th for the after-school programs.
- Locations: Our programs span from South St. Pete to Palm Harbor, and from Riverview to New Tampa to South Tampa, and everything in between.
- Pay: Head coaches earn $40 per 1-hour class, and assistant coaches earn $30 per 1-hour class.
- The head coach is expected to be very responsible, which includes running the program at the school (or other location), communicating consistently with the Director, showing up early to set up, bringing a lot of energy to the players, etc.
- There will be a brief training, and coaches can use a combination of their own drills in addition to United Ballers' basketball drills/lessons.
About us: United Ballers Youth Sports provides high-quality basketball, track, and soccer lessons and camps for kids ages 4-14. Our coaches have several decades' worth of playing and coaching experience.
