Monday-Friday; 10:00am-3:30pm
Position will work on-site at Motion Industries in Irondale.
United Ability is an organization that provides a variety of services to individuals with disabilities. We are currently seeking candidates to join our team as a Job Coach assisting in job coaching and developing students and youth with disabilities at Pre-Apprenticeship worksites.

Responsibilities:
- Communicates with employers to build rapport and to maintain positive relationships.
- Counsels with parents/caregivers about job expectations. Assists with job interview/training. Accommodates/trains candidates in use of technology
- Provides onsite support through job coaching.
- May work in hot or cold environments, outdoor work may be required, maybe required to stand for a full 4-hour shift.
Applicant general qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current driver’s license required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with students with disabilities are required.
- Experience working with employment accommodations preferred.
- Background in networking and building positive relationships with companies in the community preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
