Position: Interaction Designer – Senior
Location: Foster City CA and LA CA Hybrid
Duration: 12 Months
We are looking for a creative Interaction/UX designer to design products and services that drive innovation and growth for our Post Purchase products within Visa Acceptance Solutions. As a Sr Interaction Designer, Post Purchase Products, you will rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, business teams and design partners to leverage and build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in product design or UX.
- Experience in Payments/Disputes/Fintech design especially across Web and mobile form factors is highly preferred
- Ability to plan and ideate products from scratch and improve features, all within a user-centered design process.
- Ability to balance user needs and business goals, and to be an advocate for the user while aligning with the direction of the business.
- Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high-fidelity prototypes.
- Deliver high-quality designs that are simple, cohesive and holistic balancing users and business needs from concept to execution.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
- Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, tech constraints, etc.
- Experience designing robust enterprise-class and/or SMB applications.
- Experience with design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, etc.)
- Including a portfolio, website/app workflow, or any other relevant link to your work would be highly desired
