This management position plans, directs, and supervises integrated care coordination in alignment with behavioral health redesign, collaborating with internal and external providers. The role oversees assigned staff, ensures compliance with agency and state requirements, and provides direct client services as needed.
Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:
- Hire, supervise, evaluate, discipline, and schedule assigned staff in accordance with licensure and agency policy
- Oversee clinical operations, treatment planning, care coordination, documentation, and service delivery
- Monitor productivity, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance (OMAS, Joint Commission), and program budgets
- Develop, evaluate, and improve program policies, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide direct care coordination, case management, and nursing services within scope of practice as needed
- Maintain communication with physicians, referral sources, community partners, and agency leadership
- Ensure staff training, licensure compliance, confidentiality, and adherence to clinical guidelines
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or related field preferred
- LSW or LPC preferred
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience, including behavioral health
- 2–3 years of supervisory experience managing staff (required)
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
- CPI certification required within 90 days of hire
- Strong knowledge of mental illness and chronic physical health conditions in individuals with serious mental illness
- Working knowledge of substance abuse issues and recovery principles
- Understanding of mental health and substance abuse laws and regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (including evenings/weekends/holidays) and travel between multiple locations
