Position Summary:
The Systems Development Specialist supports the integration and optimization of our enterprise systems that power a highly engineered manufacturing environment by focusing on connecting data and workflows across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and business management platforms through the Syteline ERP system. Working closely with all functions, the specialist helps ensure information flows accurately and efficiently—from design through delivery—enabling smarter, faster decisions across the organization.  This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude, analytical thinking, and a desire to grow into systems analysis or ERP development within a manufacturing setting.

Essential Functions:
•Assist in integrating and streamlining engineering, manufacturing, and business systems into Syteline to improve information/data visibility and consistency.
•Support system interface development, including data mapping, process automation, and API connections between engineering (CAD/PDM), scheduling, purchasing, and inventory.
•Work with functional areas to assess process requirements and translate them into system solutions or workflow improvements.
•Test and validate data transfers and system integrations to ensure reliable performance and information accuracy.
•Maintain and document system configurations and workflows
•Collaborate with IT and other functional areas to resolve integration or data issues in a timely and systematic manner.
•Participate in Lean continuous improvement initiatives, applying technology to streamline the operation.

Position Requirements:
•Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•0–2 years of experience in IT, data systems, or technical support—preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
•Exposure to ERP systems (such as Syteline) preferred but not required.
•Basic understanding of database structures, APIs, and system integrations.
•Proficiency in SQL  and C# required.
•Foundational programming/scripting knowledge required (e.g., Power Automate, Microsoft Power Platform, or VBA).
•Demonstrated knowledge of Power Apps or Microsoft Power Platform
•Interest in or exposure to manufacturing execution systems (MES), product data management (PDM), or CAD integrations.
•Proficient with Excel, data analysis, and process documentation.
•Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
•Effective communication with technical and non-technical associates.
•Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn complex systems.
•Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
