Senior TMS Business Analyst

Overview

The Senior TMS Business Analyst is responsible for leveraging their expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to drive optimization, enhance operational efficiency, and improve supply chain visibility. The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering and analyzing business requirements, and translating them into technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to facilitate communication between IT and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analyses to understand business needs and develop TMS solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
• Lead and facilitate workshops and meetings to drive understanding and alignment
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track performance metrics
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate feedback processes
• Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on TMS functionalities
  
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in TMS
• Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation
• Strong understanding of logistics and transportation operations
  
  

Preferred Requirements:

• Master's degree in a related field
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA)
• Familiarity with integration methods and tools
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance
