Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts with clamp forks and slipsheet attachments to load and unload electronic products
- Review and follow shipping and receiving schedules to ensure timely operations
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and report any equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate logs of all truck deliveries and forklift operations
- Ensure the proper placement of products in designated storage areas
- Collaborate with team members to maximize warehouse efficiency and safety
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while operating equipment
- Train new employees on safety protocols and equipment operation as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
- Familiarity with inventory management software
- Experience with electronic product handling
- Advanced certifications for operating specialized forklifts
- Prior experience in a high-volume logistics or warehouse environment
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices
- Ability to operate additional warehouse machinery (e.g., pallet jacks, reach trucks)
