Duties
- Safely operate vehicles and other commercial transportation equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and addressing any questions or concerns professionally
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met and report any issues promptly
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe driving environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members using clear verbal instructions or communication devices
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition for record-keeping purposes
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL license for commercial driving) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating various vehicles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide friendly customer service in diverse settings
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early and ensure optimal performance
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and route planning principles
