Lead Mover / Crew Leader – Unique Movers

Position Overview:

We are hiring a Lead Mover / Crew Leader who can take ownership of jobs from start to finish. This role is responsible for leading crews, ensuring safety and company procedures are followed, and delivering a top-tier customer experience on every move.

This is not an entry-level role, we need someone who takes initiative, leads by example, and holds their team accountable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage moving crews on job sites
• Ensure all truck, safety, and company policies are followed at all times
• Perform and document pre-trip inspections on all vehicles
• Oversee job execution from start to finish (loading, transport, unloading)
• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers
• Ensure crew members follow proper procedures, care standards, and efficiency expectations
• Problem-solve on the spot and make decisions without needing constant direction
• Protect company equipment, trucks, and customer property
• Set the tone for professionalism, attitude, and work ethic

What We're Looking For:

• Previous moving or labor leadership experience preferred
• Strong leadership and accountability mindset
• Ability to take initiative and run a job without being micromanaged
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Good communication skills with both crew and customers
• Physically capable of handling the demands of moving (lifting, stairs, long days)
• Valid driver's license (clean driving record preferred)
