Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and care to individuals in various settings,. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional support. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that each individual receives respectful, safe, and effective care tailored to their unique needs.

Duties

• Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties, including laundry, sanitation of common areas, and personal spaces
• Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare protocols and assist in updating individualized care plans

Requirements

• Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments
• TB test required before work starts
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, residents’ families, and other caregivers

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
