Duties
- Assisting clients with light meal preparation and snack setup
- Encouraging and participating in hobbies, activities, or exercises
- Providing transportation support (e.g., to appointments, errands, or social events)
- Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying living spaces, changing linens)
- Running errands (grocery pickup, prescriptions, mail)
- Accompanying clients on walks or outings for social engagement
- Assisting with organization of personal items and schedules
- Monitoring clients’ overall well-being and reporting concerns to supervisors
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Helping clients use phones, computers, or tablets for communication or entertainment
- Supporting cognitive engagement through games, reading, or conversation
- Helping maintain a safe environment (removing trip hazards, reporting hazards)
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and client care plans
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within service area
- Ability to pass background check and any required screenings
- Comfortable performing light household tasks and errands
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in caregiving, companionship, or similar roles is a plus, but not required — training is provided

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
