The Opportunity
We are looking for a Pearl Product Merchandiser who understands the nuance of the pearl market and can build a product assortment that wins.
This role is central to shaping how China Pearl shows up in the market—what we carry, how we present it, and how we compete. You will have direct influence over product direction, assortment strategy, and category growth.
What You’ll Own
- Build and manage the pearl jewelry assortment across key channels
- Analyze sales performance, inventory, and pricing within the pearl category
- Partner with sourcing teams on product development and selection
- Identify gaps and opportunities across pearl types, qualities, and price points
- Develop assortments that align with customer demand and market trends
- Support sales teams with product knowledge, presentations, and tools
- Monitor competitive positioning and adjust strategy accordingly
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in jewelry merchandising, with strong exposure to pearls preferred
- Solid understanding of pearl types, grading, and sourcing dynamics
- Strong analytical and assortment planning skills
- Ability to balance product, pricing, and inventory effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong commercial instincts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
