Nurse Practitioner/PA job details:
Position Details:
- Full time
- 40 hours per week
- M-F 8:00am – 5pm
Primary role is:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients within the clinic
Essential Job Duties:
- Completes the routine physical assessment using common assessment skills in a systematic manner.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
- Records physical findings, formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
- Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
- Orders rheumatology infusion treatments under the supervision of collaborative Rheumatologist.
- Oversee infusion treatments as necessary under the supervision of collaborative Rheumatologist.
- Take first call according to the planned call schedule as necessary.
- Handles message pools and prescription refill requests under supervision of Rheumatologist.
- Perform any injections and procedures as requested by the collaborative Rheumatologist after required training is completed.
Qualifications:
• Graduate from an accredited MSN or PA program
• Must have Indiana RN license.
• Must have active APRN or PA/CSR license or be eligible for licenses.
• AANP, ANCC or PA certification
License/Certification:
• BLS certification
