Successful candidates for the full-time Bank Teller/CSR position must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role.
Position Requirements:
- Previous banking experience is preferred
- Cash handling and customer service experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, motivated, and organized
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Match customers with appropriate bank products and services to help meet their financial needs
- Assist with online/mobile banking products
- Oversee office opening and closing procedures
- Represent the bank in various community functions
- Process customer’s deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Maintain accurate details of each transaction
- Balance cash drawer
- Maintain customer confidentiality
To be successful you will need:
- Strong relationship building skills
- Outstanding organization skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
- Ability to exercise judgment and raise questions to management
Education and Experience:
- Teller Experience – 1 year minimum or equivalent experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
