We're currently seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Lines Insurance Agent to join our growing team.Position SummaryAs a Commercial Lines Insurance Agent, you’ll be responsible for developing new business and servicing existing accounts for a variety of commercial insurance products, including general liability, property, commercial auto, workers’ compensation, and specialty coverages. You’ll work closely with business owners and decision-makers to assess risk, recommend coverage, and provide top-tier service and support.Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and manage a portfolio of commercial clients across various industries
- Conduct risk assessments and coverage analysis for business clients
- Prepare and present insurance proposals tailored to client needs
- Maintain strong carrier relationships to negotiate the best terms and pricing
- Stay up to date on industry trends, products, and underwriting guidelines
- Meet or exceed production goals and contribute to agency growth
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal insurance regulations
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
- 2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance (required)
- Strong knowledge of business insurance products and risk management practices
- Proven sales and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field is preferred
