We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Uxbridge, MA. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with customers, and take pride in accuracy and organization, we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our team, you will serve as one of the first points of contact for customers, ensuring smooth transactions, accurate order processing, and exceptional service. Your attention to detail will play a critical role in maintaining order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Support the outside sales team with order processing and customer inquiries
- Assist contractors and retail customers with product selection and order processing
- Accurately enter customer orders with a target error rate of less than 1%
- Review orders for accuracy including pricing, quantities, freight terms, and delivery details
- Confirm and post invoices with strict attention to detail
- Monitor open orders and proactively communicate order updates
- Load samples or small orders into customer vehicles as needed (up to 30 lbs.)
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer records in CRM
- Support inventory counts and seasonal sales initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of customer service or inside sales experience
- Proven ability to maintain a 99% order entry accuracy rate
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues before processing orders
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
