 Job Summary
 We are seeking a Quote Analyst/Quote Preparer to join our team in a fast-paced PCBA Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment. This role focuses on preparing and supporting cost estimates, with an emphasis on labor and material inputs for customer quotations.

 As a foundational role on the quoting team, the Quote Analyst will learn how to analyze BOMs, gather pricing, and build structured cost models. 

 Key Responsibilities

• Review RFQs (Requests for Quotation) from OEM/ODM customers for PCBA and EMS services.
• Interpret BOMs, drawings, and specifications to identify material and labor requirements.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to collect component pricing, lead times, and availability.
• Assist Engineering and Manufacturing in gathering labor, process, and test cost estimates.
• Consolidate cost inputs into structured quotation templates.
• Maintain accurate quotation data and assumptions in ERP/quoting systems.
• Support cost roll-ups, margin analysis, and “what-if” pricing scenarios.
• Provide timely updates on quote status to Program Managers, Sales, and Operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of quoting processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field (or equivalent internship/academic project experience).
• Strong interest in electronics manufacturing and cost analysis.
• Basic understanding of BOM structures and cost drivers (materials, labor, overhead).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Exposure to ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

 Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or project experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or cost analysis.
• Familiarity with electronic components and sourcing challenges.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or cost-reduction strategies.
• Experience using quoting or costing tools (academic or professional).
