We’re seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our Quality Assurance team and play a key role in ensuring the precision and reliability of our medical implant products. In this position, you will program and operate Hexagon Metrology CMMs using PC-DMIS to verify critical dimensions on high-precision components. Your expertise will help maintain full compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 standards and support the safety and performance of products that improve patient lives.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, optimize, and run CMM inspection programs for medical implants and precision components
- Interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models to build accurate inspection strategies
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections for titanium, stainless steel, and other high-precision parts
- Analyze results, identify non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to improve processes and workflows
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation ensuring full traceability
- Support gage R&R studies, calibration, and validation efforts
- Train and guide QC inspectors on CMM operation and inspection interpretation

What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred
- 5 years of CMM programming experience in a regulated, high-precision environment (medical device, aerospace, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of GD&;T, blueprint reading, and 3D CAD (SolidWorks or equivalent
- Proficiency with CMM software; PC-DMIS highly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and understanding of compliance standards
- Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams
