Industrial Prevention Specialist (Medical & Wellness Focus)
Position: Industrial Health Clinician
Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift 5a-3:30p
Location: Tomahawk, WI

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic (LPN or EMT) Industrial Prevention Specialist who brings expertise in both medical care and proactive workplace wellness. This role combines clinical support with injury prevention strategies to promote a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Medical Provider Duties:
- Deliver care within OSHA first aid guidelines (not full scope of licensure)
- Respond to workplace illnesses and injuries on the plant floor or in the onsite center
- Administer vaccines, COVID/flu tests, and operate medical equipment (EKG, AED, emergency kits)
- Conduct pre-employment physicals including audiograms, vision screenings, urine drug screens, and medical questionnaires
- Perform return-to-work evaluations including breath alcohol and drug screenings
Prevention & Wellness Duties:
- Design and lead injury prevention programs, including work simulations and job coaching
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and implement early intervention strategies
- Lead and maintain on-site injury prevention and fitness programs
- Facilitate group or individual conditioning classes and personal training sessions
- Develop and promote wellness initiatives and educational workshops
- Collaborate with HR, safety teams, and management to enhance workplace wellness
- Track and analyze program metrics to measure effectiveness and success
Physical Demands:
- Lift 3050 lbs as needed
- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting
- Occasional stooping, bending, and reaching from floor level to overhead
- Tasks involving pinching, grasping, and gripping
- Periodic computer work
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
- Experience in industrial healthcare or occupational health
- LPN, EMT certification or Licensure in your state
- CPR and First Aid certification (BLS)
- 6 months to 1 year of professional experience preferred
