Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of North Carolina, is looking for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Hickory, NC. About the Practice

The practice is a large group that consists of 7 Physicians working as OB/GYN’s and 1 Gynecologist. In addition, the practice has a large support staff of 4 nurse practitioners and 3 certified nurse midwives. This well-established practice has been serving the Hickory Area for almost 50 years and has built up a solid reputation for excellent patient care. Deliveries are performed at Catawba Valley Medical Center which the large health system in the area. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established practice with a large physician and staff team in a small-town environment that allows for an excellent work/life balance.

• The practice offers comprehensive women’s healthcare including large range of Gynecological and Obstetrics services. Deliveries and surgical procedures are performed at Catawba Valley Medical Center
• Catawba Valley Medical Center has a Level III NICU Unit, robotics for specialized GYN surgeries and women’s health subspecialists
• Large support staff to assist – 4 Nurse Practitioners and 3 Certified Nurse Midwives
• Practice has built up a strong patient base from working in the community for over 50 years
• Patient Census: 20/daily per OB-GYN
• Collegial environment that focuses on patient care and staff growth. Excellent mentorship available to physicians coming out of residency
• Strong balance of both OB and GYN. Will perform several deliveries and major GYN surgeries every month
