Armed Security Officer – Los Angeles, CA
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday – Saturday
- 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
We are currently seeking a professional and dependable Armed Security Officer to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment while representing the company professionally.
Requirements:
- Valid Armed Guard Card (Required)
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to conduct patrols throughout the assigned property
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must wear the proper uniform at all times
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and de-escalate situations professionally
- Ability to complete accurate and detailed DARs (Daily Activity Reports)
Job Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas and maintain a visible security presence
- Monitor for suspicious activity and safety concerns
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients as needed
- Complete detailed and accurate DARs and incident reports
- Respond to incidents in a professional manner
- Utilize de-escalation techniques when handling conflicts or disturbances
- Enforce site policies and procedures while maintaining professionalism
