We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Credit Manager to join our dynamic finance team. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire credit application process, conducting in-depth credit evaluations, and approving or denying credit terms for our clients based on thorough analysis. Collaborating closely with sales and finance departments, you will develop strategies to optimize credit management processes and provide training and guidance to staff regarding credit risk management practices. Furthermore, you will be expected to analyze credit reports and maintain up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements. As the Credit Manager, your expertise in financial assessment and strategic thinking will help our organization make informed decisions regarding creditworthiness and financial partnerships, ultimately driving the success and sustainability of our business. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct thorough credit assessments and analysis of potential customers to determine creditworthiness.
- Evaluate and process credit applications, making informed decisions on credit limits and terms.
- Monitor customer credit accounts and payment history to identify potential issues or risks.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align credit strategies with business goals and customer relations.
- Manage disputes and collections on overdue accounts, ensuring timely resolution with clients.
- Prepare and present detailed credit reports and analysis to management for strategic decision-making.
- Oversee three, (3) direct reports within the department.
- Ability to support multiple location, managing/supervising billing and cash postings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Credit Manager or in other managerial positions within finance, ideally in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methods and credit management regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess financial statements and credit reports effectively.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills for interacting with customers and internal departments.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving capabilities.

Hours: 8am – 5pm (normally)
Salary Range: $85K -$120K ( BASED ON EXPERIENCE )
