Position: Supply Chain Logistics Specialist
Location: Foster City, CA 94404 (Hybrid: Tues-Wed-Thur onsite)
Role Overview:
Support global supply chain and logistics operations by coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and collaborating with internal teams, freight forwarders, contract manufacturers, and cold chain partners to ensure timely distribution of commercial products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation in SAP ERP.
- Monitor inventory, reorder points, and batch allocations with CMOs.
- Identify and resolve shipment discrepancies in coordination with quality teams.
- Track shipments, review customs documentation, and support master production schedule and sales forecasts.
- Manage routine inventory changes and system updates.
- Communicate production changes and scheduling updates with relevant teams.
- Participate in logistics meetings to discuss metrics, KPIs, and future business needs.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA and 2 years in supply chain/logistics or related field.
- Experience with routine to semi-routine assignments, problem-solving, and independent decision-making.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP ERP experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cold chain logistics and pharmaceutical shipping is a plus.
Preferred:
- Understanding of Transportation & Trade Compliance, Customs, and FDA regulations.
