Cell Therapy Specialist – Frederick, MD
Location: Frederick, MD
Training Requirement: First 8–10 weeks, all contractors must work Monday–Friday (7:30 AM–4:00 PM) for New Hire Orientation and Manufacturing Onboarding. After training, employees transition to assigned shifts based on business needs. During training, company holiday schedules apply; once deployed, employees are considered essential and may work during holidays/shutdowns.
Shifts (4x10 schedule; subject to change):
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (Sun–Wed, Wed–Sat, or Thu–Sun)
- Swing Shift: 3:00 PM–1:30 AM or 5:00 PM–3:30 AM (Sun–Wed, Wed–Sat, or Thu–Sun)
Summary:
Seeking a Cell Therapy Specialist to support commercial cell therapy manufacturing in a GMP environment. Responsibilities include operating cell processing equipment, following batch records/SOPs, troubleshooting issues, supporting investigations, maintaining cGMP compliance, and collaborating with Quality and Materials teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, OR
- Associate’s degree in Life Sciences 1 year biotech experience, OR
- High School Diploma 2 years cGMP manufacturing experience
- Experience in cGMP manufacturing preferred
- Ability to work in cleanroom environments and wear a respirator when required.
