Purchasing Analyst/Buyer III
The Purchasing Analyst is responsible for material procurement for a Las Vegas
manufacturing facility. The Purchasing Analyst will manage existing suppliers and
identify new potential supply partners with the aim of creating a robust and reliable
sourcing network for strategic ingredients. Working within a cross-functional team in the
Operations department, this role will provide key support for sourcing, strategic
planning, and scheduling. Exceptional candidates with commodities expertise,
experience with supplier selection, cost and capital management, and supply chain risk
analysis will find additional opportunities for growth within the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Review, advise, and execute purchase orders.
- Monitor open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery, coordinating with
vendors and suppliers to troubleshoot supply chain challenges.
- Review inventory and packaging component stock levels and expected purchase
order receipt dates to efficiently align the production schedule with material
requirements.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to achieve optimal cost points.
- Build and maintain relationships with both domestic and international suppliers.
- Provide technical support to the Regulatory and Research & Development
departments.
- Interface with the Finance department and relevant purchase requisitioners to
ensure proper categorization and reconciliation of supplier invoices.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings.

Qualifications
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field,
or possesses equivalent work experience.
- Possesses five or more years of related procurement, supplier relationship
management, and commodity management experience.
- Has experience in the food manufacturing, health supplement, wholesale, or
pharmaceutical industries (a plus).

- Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.
- Is a creative problem-solver who can analyze and resolve problems.
- Is self-motivated and confident, comfortable working independently or in cross-
functional teams.
- Exhibits astute organizational skills with a drive to meet deliverables.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel, or the Google
Workspace equivalents.
