Senior Manager, Digital Commerce - Amazon
Job Description
Uni is seeking a Senior Manager, Amazon to own and scale our Amazon business as a critical growth channel. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for a strategic operator who understands the full Amazon ecosystem — from content and advertising to inventory, pricing, and the end-to-end customer experience on platform.
The ideal candidate is an Amazon channel expert who thrives at the intersection of brand building and performance. They know how to win on Amazon — both in terms of organic discoverability and paid growth — while keeping Uni's premium positioning and sustainability story front and center. This person will work closely with the Amazon Vendor/Seller team as well as internal brand, creative, operations, and finance teams to drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon Channel Strategy & Growth
- Own the end-to-end Amazon channel strategy, including roadmap, KPIs, and P&L accountability
- Identify opportunities to grow share, expand the product catalog, and enter new Amazon programs (Subscribe & Save, Amazon Premium Beauty, etc.)
- Monitor competitive landscape and platform trends to stay ahead of the market
- Build and manage the relationship with Amazon vendor/seller representatives
Content & Brand Experience
- Oversee all Amazon content — A content, Brand Store, product detail pages, and imagery — ensuring alignment with Uni's brand identity balanced with best consumer Amazon practices
- Partner with the creative team to develop and refresh best-in-class assets that drive conversion and reinforce premium positioning
- Ensure all listings are optimized for discoverability through SEO-driven titling, bullets, and backend search terms
Media & Campaign Management
- Lead Amazon Advertising & Search strategy and execution across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP
- Develop and manage promotional calendars, including deal events (Prime Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday) and brand campaigns
- Analyze ROAS, TACoS, and media efficiency metrics to continuously optimize spend and performance
Product Assortment & Merchandising
- Own Amazon product assortment strategy — recommend which SKUs to prioritize, bundle, or introduce exclusively on Amazon based on channel data and consumer demand signals
- Identify whitespace opportunities and work with product and brand teams to develop Amazon-specific bundles, sizes, or offerings that drive incrementality
- Monitor competitor assortments, pricing, and product mix to inform assortment decisions and maintain competitive positioning
- Partner with operations and brand teams to manage product lifecycle on Amazon — including new launches, discontinuations, and seasonal assortment planning
Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to manage inventory health, forecasting, and in-stock rates
- Collaborate with finance to manage pricing strategy, promotional budgets, and channel profitability
- Work closely with the brand, digital marketing, and performance marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign amplification across channels
- Serve as the internal Amazon subject matter expert, sharing insights and educating cross-functional stakeholders
Analytics & Reporting
- Build and maintain regular reporting on Amazon performance, including revenue, conversion, growth, and profitability metrics
- Leverage data to generate actionable insights and present findings to senior leadership
- Use tools such as Vendor Central / Seller Central, Brand Analytics, and third-party platforms (Helium 10, Stackline, Pacvue, etc.) to track performance and identify opportunities
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in ecommerce or digital commerce, with at least 3–4 years of dedicated Amazon channel management
- Deep expertise in Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central, Amazon Advertising, and Brand Analytics
- Proven track record of growing an Amazon business — demonstrated ability to increase revenue, improve organic rank, and scale advertising programs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear strategy and action
- Experience working cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, creative, and finance teams
- Experience in beauty, skincare, wellness, or premium consumer goods strongly preferred
- Familiarity with third-party Amazon analytics platforms (Stackline, Helium 10, Pacvue, etc.) a plus
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment — highly proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented
