Industrial Maintenance Mechanic — Keep Our Machines Running, Keep Our Products Moving
Uni-Grip | Full-Time | 1st Shift
Pay: $25 – $30/hour
Ever seen a garage door seal, an RV weatherstrip, or the edge trim on a piece of heavy equipment? There's a good chance we made it. Uni-Grip manufactures extruded rubber and plastic seals and trims for industrial clients of all sizes — and we need a hands-on mechanic who can keep our production floor running strong.
This isn't a desk job. You'll be the go-to problem-solver when machines break down, the person who catches issues before they become downtime, and the mechanic who can move seamlessly between mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems without missing a beat.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery — mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
- Install and maintain equipment across the plant
- Run drill presses, lathes, mills, saws, and hand tools like a pro
- Tackle emergency repairs when they happen — and stay ahead of them with scheduled preventative maintenance
- Read equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and work orders to get the job done right
- Keep safety front and center in everything you do
What You Bring
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to get certified on a tow motor (we'll train you)
- A positive attitude and a team-player mindset
- Dependability — we can count on you to show up and get it done
- Ability to take direction and run with it
- Self-motivation
- Comfort with hand and power tools
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift 50 lbs. in a normal manufacturing environment

- 80 hours of vacation. (40 hours at 90 days and an additional 40 at 6 months)
