Battery Changer - Maintenance

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM

Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining the grounds, parking lot and driveways of the facility. May assist the Facility Maintenance team with general repairs.

Essential Functions:

• Repair building equipment to include plumbing, structures, carpentry, dry and wet fire systems, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment to include inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustments and repairs, etc.
• Perform building modifications to include plumbing, welding, electrical, carpentry, etc.
• Keep accurate records of preventative maintenance and all other work performed.
• Perform other tasks as directed by Supervisor.
• Communicate with Supervisor daily on changes and problems with building equipment.
• Clean work area/ warehouse and equipment.
• Perform other relevant job duties as required.
  
  

Job Requirements:

Education:

• High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent related experience.
  
  

Experience:

• Two years general maintenance experience.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
  
  

Skills:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical trades, and/or related to building maintenance
• Minimum of five (5) years of plumbing experience is required.
• Required to have own tools.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
