Position Summary:
The Entry-Level Project Engineer will assist in coordinating engineering projects related to gas turbine component design, manufacturing, and inspection. This position provides hands-on experience across multiple disciplines — from design and quality to production and project management. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter eager to learn, with a strong foundation in mechanical or aerospace engineering and a passion for the energy and power generation industry.
Responsibilities:
Support project engineers and managers in planning, documentation, and execution of engineering projects for gas turbine components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and manufacturing, to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Assist in preparing 3D models and technical reports using NX CAD and related software.
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project progress.
Track project milestones, update schedules, and help identify potential risks or delays.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to design, process flow, and documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (or currently completing final coursework).
Internship or project experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, or gas turbine systems preferred.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (NX preferred).
Basic knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing principles.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to export control regulations (ITAR).
