ANOVA1 LLC, a woman-owned technical recruiting and engineering firm, is hiring a Project Engineer for an on-site gas-turbine hot-section manufacturing role in Stuart, FL. You will own external manufacturing vendors (investment casting/foundry, machining, special processes, and coatings) for gas-turbine hot-section parts. You will carry each part number from planning through complete-set delivery. This is a manufacturing engineering role, not a commissioning, outage, or field-service job. Responsibilities
- Own vendor execution across casting, machining, special processes, coating, and inspection through complete-set delivery.
- Build and track project plans, schedules, and supplier milestones from quote through first article, production, and shipment.
- Prepare RFQ packages and quotes, and support supplier selection and qualification.
- Review drawings, specifications, GD&T, and supplier deliverables.
- Coordinate first-article inspection and qualification evidence before release.
- Drive NCRs, SCARs, root cause, and corrective action to closure.
- Track supplier cost, quality, delivery, yield, and lead time, and keep heat/lot traceability for complete sets.
- Report status, risks, and recovery plans to management and customers.
- Travel to supplier sites as needed.
Requirements
- 2 to 6 years of engineering experience with complex manufactured hardware.
- Experience with gas turbine or aerospace hot-section hardware is required.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing, materials, or a related engineering field.
- Hands-on ownership of external manufacturing vendors, including schedule and quality-issue closure.
- Able to read drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
- Able to work on-site in Stuart, FL.
Preferred
- Experience with more than one process: investment casting, machining, heat treat, NDT, special processes, or coatings.
- Knowledge of superalloys and of ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality systems.
- Project planning software and Gantt-chart reporting.
