Job Overview
As a Retail Beauty Associate, you are both a skincare expert and a sales driver. You are responsible for delivering personalized consultations while actively contributing to store sales goals and key performance metrics. This role requires confidence in selling, educating, and converting customers through intentional recommendations, demonstrations, and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Performance
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals and beauty-specific KPIs, including:
- Sales Per Hour (SPH)
- Units Per Transaction (UPT)
- Conversion
- Beauty attachment and routine-building
- Drive full routine sales through intentional consultations, add-ons, and cross-category selling.
- Take ownership of personal performance and actively apply coaching feedback to improve results.
Customer Experience & Consultations
- Deliver personalized, results-focused skincare consultations based on individual concerns and goals.
- Confidently recommend products, routines, and regimens that drive both results and sales.
- Demonstrate product usage, application techniques, and best practices to increase confidence and conversion.
Brand Advocacy & Education
- Act as a brand ambassador by communicating Uncommon Beauty’s mission, ingredients, and product benefits.
- Lead in-store demos, mini facials, and beauty-focused activations to drive traffic and sales.
- Stay current on product launches, key ingredients, trends, and competitive landscape.
Visual & Operational Excellence
- Maintain elevated visual standards within the beauty area, ensuring fixtures are stocked, clean, and on-brand.
- Support inventory management including restocking, testers, and shrink prevention.
- Process transactions efficiently while maintaining an elevated customer experience.
Team & Culture
- Contribute to a performance-driven, collaborative team culture.
- Support store-wide goals, promotions, and selling events.
- Participate in ongoing training, education, and sales contests.
Qualifications
- Esthetician certification preferred but not required.
- 1–2 years of beauty or skincare sales experience (retail, spa, or luxury preferred).
- Proven ability to sell and confidently recommend products.
- Strong communication skills and comfort engaging customers.
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for education and growth.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
