FT Sales Associate Job Description
This position is responsible for performing all aspects of sales including but not limited to greeting and welcoming customers, suggestive selling, closing the sale, and accurately completing the sale on the point-of-sale register.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Exceeds customer expectations by providing a personalized, elevated and memorable shopping experience.
- Assists with daily tasks as needed, such as cleaning, maintaining merchandising standards, replenishing, and processing friendly and efficient sales transactions.
- Utilizes product knowledge tools, such as look books, brand books, style guides, and provides advanced knowledge of current fashion trends.
- Demonstrates strategic selling techniques such as suggestive selling, clienteling, and styling to build upon every customer transaction both on the sales floor and at the cash wrap.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Good customer service and verbal communication skills
