We are hiring licensed Captains to join the team at Uncle Sam Boat Tours in Alexandria Bay. This is a hands-on leadership role on the water. We are looking for professionals who value safety, teamwork, and exceptional guest service.
Schedule:
Flexible schedule required.
Includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This is a full-time seasonal position from June 1 through October 1.
Required Qualifications
- Valid U.S. Coast Guard Master’s License
100 gross ton preferred
50 gross ton accepted
- Current TWIC credentials
- Flexible availability
- Strong customer service skills
- Physically able to perform vessel duties
Helpful but not required:
- Mechanical knowledge
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe working environment onboard
- Supervise and lead crew members
- Assist with vessel setup each day
- Clean and disinfect vessels between departures
- Help fuel vessels when needed
- Secure vessels at the end of the day
- Support smooth and safe passenger operations
This is an active, physical role. Captains work closely with crew and guests throughout the day.
