Catering Driver (PT)

Join our team at Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace in Port Washington.  We’re seeking a Part-Time Catering Driver to support our busy Catering Department. In this role, you’ll ensure our gourmet food is delivered quickly, safely, and professionally to our customers’ locations — always maintaining the high-quality service Uncle Giuseppe’s is known for.

(A CDL is not required. A company SUV is provided for all catering deliveries.)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal driving regulations

• Load, transport, and deliver catering orders; set up food and supplies at customer locations

• Assist with in-store pick-ups, packaging orders, and preparing condiments and paper goods

• Support off-premise events such as BBQs, omelet stations, weddings, and more (with pay differential)

• Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery and event

• Load and unload catering equipment and ensure vehicles are kept clean and organized

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years of age

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience and at least 1 year of delivery experience

• Valid NYS Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance

• Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs (heavier items with assistance)

• Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills

• Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English
