Pizza Clerk

Our newest store located in Sayville/Bohemia is actively seeking a FT Pizza Clerk to assist our customers at our Pizza counter!   Our Pizza Clerks are responsible for assisting customers, taking orders, heating orders to go and performing customer check out, all with a smile!  Positions are immediate openings with training located at one of our nearby gourmet stores! 

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their food and drink orders in the Pizza Kitchen area
• Responsible for heating customer items in our ovens, carefully wrapping items per customer order
• Team member will operate a very hot pizza oven for all items that are requested hot upon delivery or per order
• Help customers locate, choose and buy products
• Will prepare items for easy check out or ready for billing and delivery
• Stock and organize displays and showcases  
• Will be responsible for cleaning work areas and maintaining clean tools and equipment
• Coordinate with other staff in following food safety and hygiene procedures according to company policy
• Will ensure prompt service and a high level of customer service and satisfaction
• Other duties and functions as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Basic understanding of how a pizza kitchen operates, functionality of hot pizza ovens in a busy environment
• A strong attention to detail in a busy environment
• Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language
• Ability to work assigned schedules including weekends and holidays
