What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery BOH (PT) position at UNCLE GS MGMT CORP?
If you enjoy baked goods in a gourmet store environment, you will love our Bakery Clerk (BOH) position! We have an immediate need for a PT Bakery Clerk (BOH) in our Ramsey, NJ store. Our Bakery Clerk (BOH) are responsible for making pizza dough, packing out bakery items, traying and baking croissants, muffins, and cookies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- Prepare dough, pack bakery items, prepare bakery cookies, cakes, pastry, etc. for oven baking. Remove all baked good from oven onto cooling racks to prepare them for next steps (decorating, piping, boxing, etc)
- Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with Uncle Giuseppe's standards
- Maintain and properly use all department equipment as require
- Rotate products to ensure freshness of our gourmet pastry and bakery products
- Other duties and functions as assigned
Requirements
- Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability.
- Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language
- A team work approach and a desire to work with gourmet baked goods is required
