Founder Michael Smulders listened to his Celiac customers complain about the taste of many of the gluten free options available to them. He thought that no one should have to suffer because of a food allergy or other special dietary needs and made it his mission to create products that would make our customers happy.

Position Summary & Key Areas of Ownership

A production line lead supervises and guides the team to ensure efficient and safe daily operations on the production line, meeting quality and production goals.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the production team, ensure they are in position and prepared, and motivate them to meet shift goals.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations to ensure the line runs efficiently, production targets and met, and quality standards are upheld.
• Ensure the team follows safety protocols, maintains a clean work environment, and performs ongoing quality checks.
• Set up the production line, monitor inventory levels and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Train new employees on equipment, processes and company procedures.
• Complete production paperwork, record finished goods and track scrap and other production metrics.
• Willingness to cross train and provide support with other production work centers.
• Other duties assigned.
• Hours are M-Th 4am to 2:30pm with overtime as needed

Skills and Requirements

• Proven experience on a production or assembly line.
• Leadership and communication skills to work with production, QA, maintenance, and management staff.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with safety regulations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Expected to learn Basic Good Manufacturing Practices and Hygiene, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Safety Procedures and Quality at the Source testing and documentation for your assigned work area.
• EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED), on the job training is offered.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
