Duties

• Perform comprehensive residential cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure homes are pristine.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Clean floors thoroughly through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to keep surfaces spotless.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all surfaces, including countertops, appliances, bathrooms, and outdoor areas when applicable.
• Use manual handling skills for heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and effectively.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and ensure satisfaction with the service provided.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in cleaning surfaces, floors, carpets, and outdoor areas with various cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Experience managing time effectively to complete scheduled tasks within designated timeframes.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks required for thorough cleaning routines.
• Previous experience in housekeeping management or residential housekeeping roles is a plus.

Pay: $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
